30-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on first purchases of any Tholos AI license tier. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us and we will refund the full amount you paid.
Because Tholos AI runs entirely offline on your own machine and licenses are prepaid — they never auto-renew and we keep no payment method on file — there are no recurring charges to cancel. The guarantee applies from the date of payment.
Eligibility
A refund request qualifies when:
- It is made within 30 days of the original payment date.
- It is for a first purchase or a renewal payment (each renewal carries its own 30-day window from its payment date).
- The request comes from, or can be verified against, the email address or license key on the order.
We may grant refunds outside the 30-day window at our discretion for exceptional circumstances — for example, a duplicate charge or a technical issue we are unable to resolve.
How to request a refund
Email support@tholosai.com from the address on your order, including:
- Your order number (in your confirmation email or your account), and
- Your license key, and
- A brief note on the reason — optional, but it helps us improve.
There is no form to fill in and no justification required within the 30-day window.
Processing & timing
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method (the card or PayPal account used at checkout). We process approved refunds within 3 business days; it may then take an additional 5–10 business days for your bank or PayPal to post the funds, depending on their processing times.
When a license is refunded, its activation key is deactivated and the license is no longer valid for use.
Non-refundable situations
Refunds are generally not available when:
- More than 30 days have passed since the payment date (outside exceptional circumstances above).
- The request relates to a violation of the End User License Agreement.
- A refund has already been issued for the same order.
We do not pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of a paid term beyond the 30-day guarantee.
Chargebacks
If you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than your bank can. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may result in the associated license being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
